I don’t think we’ve had one of these in a while. How are Junkrat, Tristan, and everyone else impacted by the wildfires?

Is that a current photo?
Smoke’s been better down south... although Bobcat Fire is a nasty SOB. RIP Pearblossom.

No, I’m sure that’s quite old a t this point (at least, in 2020 terms where the world changes every other day while concurrently nothing ever seems to change ).

No I’m about fifteen minutes from there, perfect air here.

Yeah our air went down to zero or close to that, no idea if smoke will be back!

It was literally 30 days of complete garbage AQ around here. Winds shifted, some of the fires were finally under control and it cleaned up. It got slightly worse for a couple days, but by no means anything like it was, and now it’s very clean again.
I also happened to be in Oregon over Labor Day weekend when their fires went crazy... been pondering a big ol blog on the hows and whys and including a few photos I took from the road.

You absolutely should write that up.

I’ve been in Spokane for a couple days, AQI was around 40 before the recent rain, now below 20. Was 400+ around 10 days ago

Smoke in the Sac valley is almost entirely gone at this point, with the current AQI in the sub-30 range for the last few days.
Temperatures are starting to get less awful too. Only one day in triple digits forecasted for the next 10 days. Overnight l ows slowly creeping down to about 60, so I finally don’t hate being outside.

It’s wet and 50s next week and I’m proactively miserable. I didn’t get a decent stretch of 90s this summer.

Visit me here, and you’ll probably get a few weeks of 90's. In fact, I believe tomorrow is the only day in the forecast below 90.

Smoke has been cleared here for days now since the rain started. Current AQI is 19, worst today was 38.
